Salman Khan and Govinda , two of Dhawan’s favorites, will lead the cast of his next movie. Salman and Govinda, both known for their comic flair, have never been cast together. While Govinda is Dhawan’s all-time favorite, Salman too enjoys good respect in the director’s eyes. 
Now that David Dhawan has wrapped up his next movie Shaadi No. 1 , the master of kitsch and slapstick comedy is gearing up to start another project that will be produced by Sohail Khan’s production company. The movie will have Salman and Govinda coming together for onscreen comedy for the first time. "They will make a dhamaal jodi. Absolutely the jodi no. 1," Dhawan is quoted as saying. Dhawan is presently working on the movie’s script. He is likely to start shooting it in November this year.
