Saif Ali Khan will reportedly play one of the leading roles in director duo Abbas-Mustan’s next thriller.
Saif’s career graph has been on the rise since last one and a half years. Once deemed a non-dependable star, Saif is now among the most sought-after stars in Hindi film industry.
Riding high on the success of his latest release Salaam Namaste , Saif is now believed to be signing new projects.
While there is still some ambiguity as to whether he has actually signed Salaam Namaste director Siddharth Raj Anand’s next movie (to be produced by Yash Raj banner), there are confirmed reports of Saif having agreed to work in Abbas-Mustan’s next thriller. This is the first time Saif will be working with the director duo.
Being described as “a thriller with a difference”, the yet-untitled movie will be the story of two brothers who always try to outsmart each other.
Saif will play one of the brothers. Another hero is yet to be finalized for the movie.
Speaking about the project, Saif told IANS: "It's something I've never done before – a thriller with a difference...I like the film's mood and energy."
Saif is currently shooting for Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s movie Eklavya in Rajasthan. His next release will be an English movie titled ‘Being Cyrus’.
