HOME | SCOOP!! & NEWS | BOLLYWOOD Amitabh Bachchan in Sholay maker’s next20th Sept 2005 19.45 IST Filmmaker Ramesh Sippy , director of superhit movies like Shaan and Sholay , is ready to direct a movie after a long sabbatical. Even as Ram Gopal Varma is remaking Sippy’s timeless epic Sholay, the veteran director, who has of late been busy as producer, is now ready to don the director’s cap again. 
Sippy is presently believed to be working on the script of his next movie which will most likely cast Amitabh Bachchan , Sippy’s favorite. Sippy admits that he has discussed the idea of the movie with Mr. Bachchan, but he says the cast would be finalized after the script is over by next month. There are also talks that the movie would also star Abhishek Bachchan . Sippy hopes to start shooting for the movie early next year.
