Director J. P. Dutta is eagerly waiting to start his movie Umrao Jaan with Aishwarya Rai next month. But it seems that Ash may not be able to keep the date.
Ash is presently shooting for her English movie ‘The Last Legion’ in Tunisia. She was supposed to finish the shoot by this month, but it looks like the shooting of the movie is behind its schedule and Ash may have to stay in Tunisia longer than expected.
And the man who is worried is J.P. Dutta who wanted to start Umrao Jaan with Ash next month, but he now has to find a way out of the problem.
An IANS report quotes Dutta as saying: “It is not her (Ash’s) fault at all. Apparently, the shooting of her foreign film is behind schedule. And there will probably be a delay of a week. It's a routine delay and one for which she is in no way responsible.”
Dutta says he is trying to work out a solution. He says he has to find a way to start shooting Umrao Jaan without Umrao herself.
