HOME | SCOOP!! & NEWS | BOLLYWOOD Abhishek to pay tribute to Mehmood01st Oct 2005 12.45 IST By Agencies Bollywood leading man Abhishek Bachchan , will pay tribute to one of Indian film's comic legends in an upcoming movie called Bluffmaster , a news report said on Friday. The new film will open with Bachchan dancing to the theme song from “Sabse Bada Rupiah” (Money is Power), a 1976 blockbuster starring the late comic icon Mehmood, director Rohan Sippy, told the Mirror newspaper. 
Mehmood was a hugely popular Hindi actor and director who worked on more than 150 films before his death at the age of 72 last year in the United States. Sippy said he had bought the rights to Mehmood's song and would release an updated remix as part of the film's soundtrack as a tribute to Mehmood. ‘Bluffmaster’, scheduled for release in December, is a comedy that revolves around the power of money in today's world. But Sippy said the plot is very different to that of Mehmood's 1976 hit. Popular actress Priyanka Chopra , a former Miss World, will feature in the movie, along with stars Nana Patekar and Boman Irani .
