Everyone in Bollywood seems wanting to work with Saif Ali Khan nowadays.
The super success of Salaam Namaste and the emergence of Saif as a dependable star have made him a sought-after actor in Bollywood.
First, there were reports of Yash Raj Films signing Saif for their next movie, to be directed by Siddharth Raj Anand. Then Abbas-Mustan were believed to have signed the handsome actor for their next thriller.
While Saif himself has not confirmed having signed any new movies, offers still are coming to his doorsteps.
The latest filmmaker to have expressed wish to work with Saif is acclaimed Sai Paranjape, who is making a movie after a long gap.
Paranjape wants Saif to play an important role in her English movie ‘Xapai’, which is set around a Roman Catholic family in Goa.
The film tells the story of an old man who has been deserted by his large family. He lives alone in a crumbling mansion. Saif plays his runaway son, the black sheep of the family who went to Mumbai and became a don.
Paranjape says she wants theatre personality Habeeb Tanveer to play the old patriarch and Saif to play the son.
It remains to be seen whether she is able to get Saif’s consent for the movie.
Saif is presently in Rajasthan shooting for Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s movie Eklavya .
