Hundreds of fans and admirers gathered to see Bipasha Basu when the hot belle came to Delhi to inaugurate a showroom.
It is yet another instance of Delhi crowd going crazy over a filmstar. Just a few weeks back, we saw how hordes of fans gathered at Rajghat when Urmila Matondkar and Anupam Kher offered their tribute to Mahatma Gandhi at the time of release of their movie Maine Gandhi Ko Nahin Mara .
And now it was Bipasha’s turn to get mobbed. Bipasha came to Delhi to inaugurate a new store of P P Jewellers at Gurudwara road, Karol Bagh on Monday.
As the news of Bipasha’s coming spread, hundreds of fans gathered at the venue hours before the actress arrived. And when Bipasha did arrive, there was a scene of pandemonium and utter chaos as fans jostled to have a look at the sensuous actress.
The crowd surrounded Bipasha’s car and the actress was stuck inside for about half-an-hour before security men managed to clear the way for Bipasha to step out of the vehicle and go on to the inauguration stage.
But the mob frenzy did not abate and the eager fans kept jostling to approach the stage. Fearing that the situation may slip out of hands, Bipasha cut her programme short and left the venue after just a short stay.
And the unruly crowd got nothing more than just a distant glimpse of the actress.
