While shooting for a movie in Goa, actor Arshad Warsi punched a drunken man who was teasing the movie’s actress.
Arshad Warsi, Sunil Shetty , along with three actresses – Rashmi Nigam, Tania Zaetta and Sandhya Mridul – were shooting for Deepak Shivdasani’s Mr. Black Mr. White in Goa. The incident happened in the evening at a beachside restaurant.
About a dozen of the movie’s crew were chilling out at the restaurant when a drunk, claiming to be a photographer, approached Rashmi and began touching her. When Rashmi resisted, Arshad and Sunil asked the man to leave.
But the drunk pervert came back again to pester Rashmi. This time Arshad could not tolerate. He got up and punched the man in the belly. Then Sunil Shetty made sure that the man was thrown out of the restaurant.
Arshad says he reacted aggressively because he can’t stand women being treated with disrespect.
On a previous occasion, Arshad had beaten up a guy who had tried to touch his wife Maria.
We can understand Arshad’s reaction to such incidents. Some people deserve it.
