Rahul Bose, often seen in serious roles, will now do some onscreen romantic comedy with Bollywood’s most-talked-about sex kitten.
There is more to Mallika Sherawat than her sex appeal. It is just that her anatomy gets more noticed – for obvious reasons – than her potential as an actress. She has previously tried comedy in films like Kis Kis Ki Kismat and Bachke Rehna Re Baba .
And now from October 21, she will be shooting for a romantic comedy with Rahul Bose . Rahul has recently been on the tongues in film appreciating circles for his performance in Buddhadeb Dasgupta’s Kaalpurush. The movie was the highlight of 7th Osian Cinefan Fest.
Rahul is excited about working with Mallika. He is not like the arties that despise mainstream cinema.
Rahul told an agency that he thinks Mallika is “incredibly spirited”. Rahul said it was the movie’s script that got him hooked.
The film will be the directorial debut of Saket Chowdhary. It is produced by Pritish Nandy Productions.
