Having reached the height he aspired for so long as an actor, Saif is now taking his pick. Many filmmakers in Bollywood are expressing aspirations to work with Saif, but the handsome Khan has so far committed to just one new project. 
Just a few weeks back, acclaimed filmmaker Sai Paranjpye had voiced her wish to have Saif in her next film, Xapai, an English movie set around a Roman Catholic family in Goa. Paranjpye had said that she wanted theatre personality Habeeb Tanveer to play the aged patriarch of the family and Saif to play his runaway son. She had expressed optimism that Saif would say yes to the project. But latest reports say Saif has denied that he is doing Paranjpye’s film. “I’ve never met Sai Paranjpye…I am not doing her film, because I don’t know her,” Saif is quoted as saying. Saif is presently shooting the final schedule of Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s Eklavya , in Jaipur. The movie stars Amitabh Bachchan in the title role. Saif had also got a movie offer from the director duo Abbas-Mustan, but he has not yet confirmed whether he is doing the film or not. One film that Saif confirms he has signed is ‘Salaam Namaste’ director Siddharth Raj Anand’s next movie. It would be again a youth-oriented movie to be shot entirely abroad. It seems Saif too is following the one-film-at-a-time formula.
