The turnout was not the one that anyone had expected. The lead stars of 'Garam Masala' - the two macho hunks Akshay and John can be dream dates of any girl and the makers wanted to encash their sex appeal and promote their film too hence the contest was run where the winner gets to win a date with the two hunks. 
But what's amusing is that there are as many as fifty male entrants to this contest, who wish to go on a date with this sexy duo. When asked for their reaction, Akshay and John thought the entire incident to be 'very cool'. Seems like, Akshay and John are dream dates of not just the fair sex but also of males. But one wonders what the reactions of Twinkle Khanna and Bipasha Basu would be like. 'Garam Masala' is slated to release this Diwali and it also stars Paresh Rawal , Rimi Sen and the newcomers Daisy Bopanna , Nargis and Neetu Chandran .
