The mallika of oomph is all set to star in a scary movie.
No matter how much her detractors accuse her of being nothing more than just a sex kitten, there are people who credit Mallika Sherawat with what they think she duly deserves. One such man is Ram Gopal Varma who, in his own words, had wanted to work with the lissome belle ever since Murder .
Ramu had offered her an item number in his production James , but Mallika had turned down the offer, saying she wanted a proper role.
Now Ramu has given Mallika just that in one of the three parts of his forthcoming horror flick Darna Zaroori Hai .
Mallika will play a very gutsy role in the fifteen-minute episode to be directed by Jijy Philips. Her co-star in the episode will be Anil Kapoor .
Ramu says he is looking forward to cast Mallika in a bigger role in another movie.
