Director Vivek Agnihotri’s Chocolate may not have had a sweet run at the box-office, but it got praise for technical finesse. The eager director is now raring to start his next movie.
Two different script ideas are currently boiling in Agnihotri’s mind. Earlier, he had announced his plans to make a sports-based film revolving around football.
But now, the filmmaker has got fascinated with another story idea, which he is presently translating into a script.
Speaking about the movie to a scribe, Agnihotri said the subject is a very unique one that hasn’t been tried on the Indian screen before. The movie, yet untitled, will be a period-crime thriller.
While it was expected that actor Anil Kapoor would find a place in Agnihotri’s film, the director has also signed Vivek Oberoi for a parallel role.
Vivek Oberoi hasn’t been seen on the big screen much this year. He’s had just two releases – Kisna and Kaal . The actor’s next release will be the comedy Home Delivery .
