Bipasha's 'Corporate' launched

The Madhur Bhandarkar - directed ‘Corporate’, which stars the sizzling Bipasha Basu in the lead role, was launched recently in Mumbai.

Bhandarkar is still basking in the glory of the National Award for his film Page 3 . And why not? Bhandarkar’s films are talk of the town even before they are on the floor.

To give the auspicious clap for the film's mahurat shot, Bhandarkar relied on his mentor, Guru Gulsaab who performed the same duties on three of Bhandarkar's previous films -'Page 3', Chandni Bar and Satta .

Bhandarkar said, "I have always asked my guru to give the first clap of almost all my films. He is very special to me as he predicted much before 'Chandni Bar' that I will be famous...I laughed at it then, but I believe him now, and I consider him lucky. His blessings have always been with me and I hope it's there for 'Corporate' also. I have researched this film as thoroughly as I researched in the case of 'Page 3'. And I hope it's liked by the audiences as much."

Starring Bipasha and Kay Kay Menon in the lead, 'Corporate' is Bhandarkar's second film in his expose trilogy. After 'Page 3’, which uncovered the double standards among the city's socialite set, Bhandarkar will bare the dirty side of the corporate sector in this new film.

While Bipasha is expected to shed her glamorous, sexy image for the film, Kay Kay will opt for a more suave, sophisticated look.

The sexy bong actress is very excited with her role. "This is something new, I have never been part of the corporate world and have never played this kind of a character. I will have to work hard on my look and my mannerism, which is the challenge for any actor. And working with Madhur, whose films are usually realistic is a high for me," Bipasha said.

Whereas, Kay Kay, who is seen more in character roles will be portraying a tycoon kind of an image. "Every role is different, there is no conscious effort to look different but if I am true to my character, it will come across. I plan to completely get involved in my role of high flying jet setter, let's see how the audiences react to it," the extremely talented actor said.

Although Bhandarkar was keen to cast Aishwarya Rai as his leading lady in 'Corporate', the gorgeous actress' packed schedule did not allow her to take on this project.
