Despite their age difference, actors Soha Ali Khan and Jackie Shroff handled their lovemaking scenes in the forthcoming Bengali movie Antarmahal with utmost professionalism.
In the film, directed by renowned Rituparno Ghosh , Jackie Shroff plays a wicked landlord with two wives. His first wife is played by Rupa Ganguly. Soha plays his second wife.
The character of zamindar that Shroff plays is a dominating husband whose first wife (Rupa) is barren and unable to bear him a heir. So the zamindar marries a young girl (Soha) and he keeps forcing himself upon her to bear him a child.
There are some lovemaking scenes in the movie between Soha and Jackie.
According to Jackie, these scenes “could have gone awry” had it not been for Soha who “displayed remarkable professionalism” in acting.
Antarmahal will have Jackie rendering his dialogues in Bengali. Abhishek Bachchan also plays a pivotal role in the flick.
