HOME | SCOOP!! & NEWS | BOLLYWOOD Kareena-Vivek in 'Othello' adaptation28th Oct 2005 21.36 IST By Nikhil Kumar Filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj has made a successful Hindi adaptation of Shakespeare’s ‘MacBeth’ in Maqbool . Now, the talented director is all set to adapt ‘Othello’ as well into a movie. The movie will be produced by the production house Shemaroo Films. 
It is learnt that actors Ajay Devgan , Vivek Oberoi and Kareena Kapoor have already been signed for the movie, while talks are on to rope in two more actresses and one more actor. Presumably, the movie will have Devgan playing the role a la Othello, while Kareena will play Desdemona. Shooting for the movie is slated to begin in January next year. Kareena, Vivek and Ajay have previously acted together in Mani Ratnam’s movie Yuva . Kareena and Vivek were paired in the movie.
