The handsome Khan will reportedly enact the lead role in filmmaker Subhash Ghai’s next movie.
On the 27th anniversary of Mukta Arts Ltd last month, Subhash Ghai had announced five projects to be produced by his company. While four of these films are to be directed by other directors, Ghai himself will wield the megaphone for one project.
Following the debacle of his last directorial attempt Kisna , Ghai is gearing up for another big-budgeted, musical extravaganza with love as its central theme. And the showman is reported to have signed Salman Khan to play one of the two heroes in the film.
One other hero and two heroines are yet to be finalized.
Speaking about his film, Ghai told a website: “It’s a contemporary, big-budget extravaganza with great music.”
Shooting for the movie is likely to begin in mid-2006.
