Abhishek Bachchan says he loves taking long walks in New York City, where he is currently shooting for Karan Johar ’s next movie.
Despite his hectic shooting schedules for Johar’s movie Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna , Abhishek manages to take out time to walk across the beautiful New York City.
So smitten is Abhi with the Big Apple, he says there “can’t be a dull moment when you are walking in New York.”
This is the first time Abhishek is shooting for a movie in New York. Although he first visited the city during the days when he was studying in Switzerland and Bollywood career had yet to happen.
While Bollywood fans frequently move about the hotel where the entire shooting team of the movie is checked in, Abhi says he sometimes manages to take a good long walk across the city without coming to the notice of many people. He just has to get rid of his security guys and be inconspicuous on the sidewalks.
"This city is truly made for walking," he is quoted as saying about NY.
In fact, the entire Bachchan clan has been in New York for quite some time. Abhishek’s father, Amitabh Bachchan is also an important part of Johar’s movie.
