Aamir Khan and Kajol are in New Delhi, shooting for Kunal Kohli’s film Fanaah.
Kohli has got permission from the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) to shoot the movie at historical monuments like Red Fort, Jantar Mantar, Qutub Minar, Purana Qila and Lodhi Gardens.
The shooting is most likely to begin at Chandni Chowk and the Old Delhi Railway Station.
The portions to be shot in Delhi will show a guide taking a Kashmiri girl on a sightseeing tour of Delhi. Earlier, there were plans to shoot the movie in the capital for two days only. Now, the schedule has reportedly been extended to nine days.
The producers of the movie, Yash Raj Films, will pay around Rs 5,000 per day for shooting at monuments. Only a small area of these monuments has been allotted for shooting, while the remaining portion will remain open to public as usual.
Previous reports have had it that Aamir Khan plays an undercover terrorist in the movie. Tabu is the second heroine of the movie.
Aamir has already shot for Rakesh Mehra’s Rang De Basanti in Delhi earlier this year.
