A new chapter of life begins for actor Zayed Khan on Sunday night as he marries his longtime girlfriend Malaika Parekh.

It is the last wedding in Sanjay Khan and Zarine Khan’s household. And the who’s who of Bollywood will be there at the wedding.

Although Zayed’s father, Sanjay Khan, wishes he could invite the whole world, invitations are believed to have been sent to as many as 1,500 people. Film personalities, showbiz celebs, businessmen, friends and relatives – all are looking forward to this wedding.

Shah Rukh Khan has especially flown down from the US for the wedding. Zayed’s jeeju Hrithik Roshan already arrived a few days back before the Mehndi ceremony. And the entire Khan brigade will be there on Zayed’s big night.

Conspicuous by their absence at the ceremony would be superstar Amitabh Bachchan , Abhishek Bachchan , Rani Mukherjee and Preity Zinta who are shooting for Karan Johar’s next movie in the US. However, the stars would be sending their best wishes to Zayed. Aishwarya Rai and Sushmita Sen are also expected to attend the marriage.

Well, Zayed’s wedding is going to be the one to remember.

As learnt, around 58 different types of food will be served to the guests. On the menu are Afghani delicacies, Tandoori specialities, Mughalai food, ghosht dum biryani and kebabs.

Maharashtra CM Vilasrao Deshmukh and Karnataka's Deve Gowda would attend the reception on the wedding night, while Karnataka CM Dharam Singh will bless the couple on Monday.

On his wedding Zayed will wear a sherwani designed by Shahab Durazi. Malaika will be wearing a lime green lehenga choli designed by Adarsh Gill. It is also learnt that Malaika’s jewellery has been designed by Zayed’s sister Farah Khan .

After the wedding, Zayed plans to go on a very short honeymoon. After all, Bollywood is waiting for him.
