Sometimes a kiss before the camera can be a reason enough to turn down a meaty offer.
Ayesha Takia seems to have got her priorities clear. No lip locks before the camera and no exposure of skin.
Reports have it that she was the first choice to play the female lead in the Yash Raj banner’s forthcoming movie Neal 'N' Nikki .
The svelte belle even had the script hearing session, but she turned down the offer because her role in the movie required her to lock lips with Uday Chopra , the movie’s hero. Subsequently, Kajol’s sister Tanishaa was roped in for the role.
‘Neal N Nikki’ features as many as 21 kisses between Uday and Tanishaa.
Takia says she understood that it was a big deal turning down an offer from Yash Raj banner. But she adds that she would just not have been comfortable doing the role. She says she wants to do movies that she can watch with her family without getting embarrassed.
