Abhishek and Ash are presently shooting for director J P Dutta’s movie Umrao Jaan in Jaipur. The two will also work together in Yash Raj banner’s Dhoom sequel, although they won’t be cast opposite each other in the movie.
Now, a rumour is abuzz that south Indian filmmaker Mani Ratnam is gearing up to make a film that will star Abhi and Ash in the leading roles.
Although no formal confirmation has come from the director or the stars, reports on TV channels speculate that the movie would be based on a romantic story.
Ash and Abhi have in the past played romantic leads in Rohan Sippy’s directorial debut Kuch Naa Kaho . Ash was also initially supposed to be Abhi’s heroine in the recently released Bluffmaster , but was later replaced with Priyanka Chopra .
