For the comely beauty Vidya Balan , January 1st is more than just the New Year’s Day.
The stroke of mid-night on 31st December is a twin occasion for the Parineeta girl. It marks the coming of the New Year and it is also the birthday of Vidya.
Although it calls for double celebrations, Vidya, being a homely girl, likes to usher in the New Year and her birthday in a simple, private get-together. That is what she did on the 31st.
Vidya reportedly cut her birthday cake at midnight with her family and a few friends.
“It’s just that late-night partying is just not my cup of tea. Every year I have this same routine of celebrating my janamdin and the naya saal with only my family and close friends,” Vidya is quoted as saying in a Mid-Day report.
Vidya, the most noticeable Bollywood debutante of year 2005, is looking forward to an eventful 2006. On the anvil is her movie Eklavya with Saif Ali Khan .
