Priyanka looking forward to an eventful year

Actress Priyanka Chopra has as many as half-a-dozen plum projects lined up for year 2006.

2005 ended on a good note for Priyanka with Rohan Sippy ’s Bluffmaster enjoying a decent run at the box-office. But it is 2006 that will see the biggest films in Priyanka’s acting career. The petite beauty has movies with the likes of Hrithik Roshan , Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan lined up for release this year.

Perhaps, the most awaited of all her movies is Rakesh Roshan’s Krrish , co-starring Hrithik. The film has already been shot in Singapore and is slated for release in the first half of this year. It has Priyanka playing a journalist.

The coming months would see Priyanka shooting for Farhan Akhtar ’s remake of the 1978 movie Don , with Shah Rukh in the lead role. The film will be shot in Malaysia and will release in the latter half of this year.

Also in the pipeline are two big movies with Salman. Priyanka and Salman have already acted together in Mujhse Shaadi Karogi in 2004. This year would see Priyanka pairing with Salman in Salaam-e-Ishq and God Tussi Great Ho .

While ‘Salaam-e-Ishq’ is a romantic movie about six love stories taking place simultaneously, ‘God Tussi Great Ho’ is a comedy featuring Priyanka in the role of a TV reporter who pulls off a sting operation.

Apart from these four big projects, Priyanka is also likely to begin shooting for the much-talked-about Sahib Biwi Aur Ghulam .

And if all this is not enough, there are filmmakers like Chandraprakash Dwivedi ( Pinjar ) and Kalpana Lazmi who are considering signing Priyanka for their films.

Looks like it would be a career-defining year for the gorgeous Chopra girl.
