What's cooking between Deepal and Randeep?

Deepal Shaw , the Babydoll girl who has landed in Bollywood with ‘Kalyug’, spends good deal of her time with actor Randeep Hooda .

Before jumping to conclusions, let it be clear that there is an age difference of ten years between Deepal and Randeep. And Randeep is already said to be linked with actress Sushmita Sen . But that notwithstanding, Deepal says she sees Randeep as a very good friend and a senior with whom she can talk about her problems.

Speaking about her friendship with Randeep, Deepal recently told Mid-Day: “We are good friends…He is like an agony aunt to me to whom I can pour out all my problems. It’s too soon for people to jump to conclusions about us.”

Deepal is also certain that Randeep will one day go ahead and change the very meaning of Indian cinema.

There are indeed some striking similarities between Deepal and Randeep. The two have so far had one release each. Randeep had D and Deepal had Kalyug . And interestingly, they have not seen each other’s movies.

The two are also acting in New York-based filmmaker Manish Gupta’s Indo-American movie Karma Confessions and Holy . And there are strong chances that Deepal will act in Randeep’s next Bollywood movie titled Risk .

Deepal got the ‘Risk’ offer not from the movie’s director Vishram Sawant, but from Randeep, who seems to have got the director’s confidence.
