Now, imagine Salman giving tips to actor Govinda to woo Katrina, albeit in a film. Much has already been written about David Dhawan ’s next movie Partner that has Salman and Govinda, Dhawan’s favorites, teaming up for the first time. The movie stars Lara Dutta and Katrina Kaif as heroines. 
However, Dhawan says he wanted to create some novelty in the movie and therefore he cast Katrina not opposite Salman, as it was expected, but opposite Govinda. Lara will be Salman’s heroine in the film. “I promise you, this movie won't just give Govinda a new image, it will also present Salman like never before,” Dhawan is quoted as saying. In the film, Salman plays a supercool love guru who doles out advices on girl-wooing. Govinda plays a simpleton who doesn’t know how to woo a girl (played by Katrina) he is smitten with. Therefore, Govinda takes tips from Salman on wooing Katrina. Dhawan believes the unusual cast combination in the movie will appeal to viewers. ‘Partner’ is produced by Sohail Khan .
