The rough and tumble of professional and personal life cannot wither away the smile of actor Vivek Oberoi .
With two flops in the last year ( Kisna and Home Delivery ) Vivek’s acting career is going through a lean patch. And to add to his woes came the emotional blow with the alleged end of his affair with actress Aishwarya Rai .
Down on both personal and professional front, Vivek still sees life as a “challenge”, as a source close to the actor is quoted as saying.
A friend of Vivek says that the actor was initially upset at the setbacks, but he is facing the tough times with a smile. The source said that Vivek is looking ahead rather than ruing over what has happened.
And there indeed is something substantial to look at as far as Vivek’s acting career is concerned. He is playing an important role in filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj’s Hindi adaptation of Shakespeare’s ‘Othello’. Vivek is reportedly getting along very well with his co-stars in the movie – Ajay Devgan , Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor .
Besides his Bollywood assignments, the actor also takes out enough time to spend with his family and the charity work.
The detractors who have been writing off Vivek would have to chew their words when the actor rises again like a phoenix from the ‘ash’es.
