HOME | SCOOP!! & NEWS | BOLLYWOOD Priyanka likely to play a devdasi 31st Jan 2006  21.30 IST By ApunKaChoice Bureau   Actress Priyanka Chopra has been approached to play a devdasi in a film by Kalpana Lazmi . Reports have it that after her next movie Chingari , which is ready to hit the theatres, Lazmi will make another women-oriented film for which she has approached Priyanka and Rekha . The movie will reportedly tell the stories of devdasis, the south Indian temple dancers. Lazmi says both Priyanka and Rekha have shown interest in the movie that may be her next project after ‘Chingari’. Lazmi is also planning to make a political drama ‘Singhasan’ with Aishwarya Rai .
