HOME | SCOOP!! & NEWS | BOLLYWOOD Rakeysh Mehra plans film with Bachchans04th Feb 2006 15.00 IST By ApunKaChoice Bureau Even though the euphoria over his movie Rang De Basanti has not subsided, director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra is moving on to his next project. After the stupendous start of ‘Rang De Basanti’ at the box-office, Mehra is on cloud nine. But he is not willing to rest on the laurels and is moving on to his next project titled Bhairavi , which Mehra says must be made this year only. 
Mehra wants Amitabh Bachchan , Abhishek Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan to act in the movie. It is learnt that the film is set in the world of classical Indian music. At the center of the story would be a family and discord among its members. Mehra has already discussed the movie with Amitabh and Abhishek. The two actors have shown interest and are reported to have informally agreed to be part of the project. Mehra is also determined to have Jaya Bachchan in ‘Bhairavi’. “I'll go on a hunger strike until she (Mrs. Bachchan) agrees,” Mehra is quoted as saying. Mehra is anxious to make the movie this year only.
