Nowadays hailed as one of the 'hottest' guys in the industry, Abhishek Bachchan celebrates his 30th birthday today – February 5.

And the junior Bachchan is loved by all his co-stars - the beautiful ladies and the macho men of Bollywood.

Abhishek is on a roll in 2006 after a scintillating 2005, which saw him delivering a slew of hits like Bunty Aur Babli , Dus , Sarkar and Bluffmaster .

Coming up in 2006 for Abhishek are Umrao Jaan and Dhoom 2 .

And though Abhishek doesn't consider turning 30 too special, he's not complaining either.

"I guess you expect a person above 30 to be more mature, but I seriously don't know whether age can do that to a person,” Abhishek is quoted to have said by a leading newspaper.

The actor, who plans to spend the day with family and friends, adds, "It's they who make it special, after all."

It's double celebration time for Abhishek, as ‘Bluffmaster’ completes 50 days. "I'm really happy with its long run. It feels good to see your efforts being appreciated and I am more happy for everyone involved in the film."

About the song Right Here, Right Now, he credits its success to the audience. "They've made it rock," he says modestly. And will he sing again? "I really don't know. Maybe, if my director really wants me to."

Looking back at the years gone by, Abhishek admits that there's nothing to complain about. "It's been a wonderful year and a fantastic journey so far... I am grateful to God for everything he has given. He's been too kind. I just want to keep working harder and rest is all destiny."

And this is what mega superstar Amitabh Bachchan had to say about his son on his birthday: "Nothing could be more exciting than to see Abhishek grow up into a young man and in the same fraternity that I have been, to see him gradually working his way up has been very rewarding. There have been accusations that Jaya and me have not given the kind of backing that 'star parents' are expected to. But we are happy that Abhishek is able to stand on his own feet."
