Cupid works in mysterious ways. Sometimes love happens in the wink of an eye. Sometimes it takes years to find your better half.

Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai : Years ago, they acted together in films like Dhai Akshar Prem Ke and Kuch Naa Kaho . Nothing more than friendship was there between Abhi and Ash in those days. He was still reeling from the emotional blow after a broken engagement with Karisma Kapoor , while Ash was weaving her own dreams with Vivek Oberoi . But as said earlier, mysterious are the ways in which Cupid works.

Looking back now, it seems that perhaps Ash and Abhi were destined to be together. Just a few months back, rumours started that Ash had broken up with Vivek. Hard to believe at first, the rumours got credibility when Ash began avoiding Vivek (she didn't turn up for the premiere of his movie Home Delivery ). Simultaneously came the reports of remarkable rapport between Ash and Abhi during the making of Umrao Jaan a few months back. And a spate of recent incidents - Abhi's birthday party and the showing of their janam patris to a Bangalore pandit - hardly leave any doubt in mind that Ash and Abhi are a couple and that too the 'hottest' in Bollywood.

Bipasha Basu and John Abraham : Theirs is the love that has survived the test of time. Two people who have been quite open and outspoken about their romance, John and Bipasha seem made for each other. The first time John expressed his feelings to Bips years ago, he got down on his knees and told her she was the woman he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. The rest, as they say, is history.

Shahid Kapur and Kareena Kapoor : They are one of the youngest couple on the block. Their romance allegedly began during the making of Ken Ghosh's movie Fida and came into full daylight with the publication of photos that purportedly showed them locking lips. Well, even on the reel, the two make quite a couple and have a number films together.

Preity Zinta and Ness Wadia: True to her nature, Preity has been very outspoken about her relationship with Ness Wadia, a Mumbai-based businessman. Whenever Preity is not working, the two are spotted together at parties and social events. But Preity and Ness have denied any immediate plans to settle down.

Saif Ali Khan and Rosa: Saif and his Italian brunette have seemed inseparable ever since the actor ended his long marriage with Amrita Singh. Guess what? Rosa has taken a liking to Saif's kids as well. As for Saif, he doesn't seem to be having enough of Rosa, and is heard singing "Whole Lotta Rosa" in rock shows.
