After remaining out of action in Bollywood for months, superstar Amitabh Bachchan has finally returned to work.
In the month of November, Mr. Bachchan took ill with an intestinal infection and underwent a surgery. The superstar has been recuperating all this time, while his main projects like Babul and Eklavya were put on hold.
On February 19, Sunday, Amitabh Bachchan got back to action with a song recording for ‘Babul’.
The song by music director Aadesh Shrivastava was recorded at Shrivastava’s new studio, AV Sound.
The song is a hip-hop number aptly titled “Come On, Come On, Chalo Jashn Manaye” (Come On, Let’s Celebrate). Lyricist Sameer has written the words for the song.
It is learnt that Bachchan’s doctors, after analyzing his recovery and health condition, said that the superstar could start doing less strenuous work.
So Bachchan began with song recording for ‘Babul’. Even the next day, on Monday, Bachchan recorded another song, a sad one, at the same studio.
After this, Bachchan will move onto doing dubbing for Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s movie ‘Eklavya’, in which he plays the title role of a royal guard. The dubbing work would require just a few hours.
As for shooting in studios, Bachchan is quoted as saying that he will start shooting most likely by March end after consulting his doctors.
