Madhuri Dixit was feeling unwell before her stage performance at the Filmfare Awards. But a sweet gesture by Aishwarya Rai changed things for the comeback diva.
Many expectations were attached to Madhuri’s performance on the awards night as it marked the return of the gorgeous actress to the tinsel town after years of familial bliss. Saroj Khan had especially choreographed Madhuri’s dance performance for the night.
But on the evening of the awards night, Madhuri caught flu. As the hour of her performance drew nearer, Madhuri felt weak and had cold.
On hearing this, Aishwarya Rai, who was her co-star in Devdaas , did something sweet. She sent Madhuri some ginger tea, which is good for cold.
Madhuri says Ash knows she likes ginger tea.
Well, the tea did its trick. Madhuri felt better. And the performance she gave on the stage drew sighs of adulation from the crowds.
Now, this is nothing but camaraderie between two beautiful actresses.
