HOME | SCOOP!! & NEWS | BOLLYWOOD The films Bachchan will commit to04th Mar 2006 16.38 IST By Aparajita Ghosh The mega star of Hindi film industry has recuperated and will be resuming shooting for films later this month. The humble human being that Amitabh Bachchan is, he regrets inconvenience to filmmakers whose projects were stalled after he took ill late last year and underwent an intestinal operation. 
The superstar rues the fact that his makeup man Deepak Sawant has been waiting for months for him to resume shooting for his Bhojpuri film. Sawant already has limited resources with which he is making the film, and Bachchan’s illness put an enormous pressure on the project. But now that the Big B is hale and hearty, the first project he will shoot for, probably later this month, would be Sawant’s Bhojpuri film. After that, Bachchan will move on to Karan Johar 's Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna , which is being described as a movie about complexities of relationships in the modern world. Then, the superstar will shoot for Ravi Chopra's Babul for which he has already recorded a few songs. About signing new projects, Bachchan has reportedly begun meeting producers and directors. He is said to have given his nod to Deepa Mehta’s next movie and will definitely do a film with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra later this year. “I have said yes to Deepa Mehta's 'Komagata Maru' in principle. I have had several meetings with Rakeysh Mehra,” Bachchan is quoted by an IANS report. Bachchan sounds particularly excited about Mehra’s proposed project ‘Bhairavi’. “We might be doing 'Bhairavi', which is an extremely unique subject with unique possibilities. The more we talk about it the bigger it seems,” says the superstar. Besides these films, Bachchan will also do a mature love story called ‘Cheeni Kum’ with Tabu . Welcome back, Mr. Bachchan.
