HOME | SCOOP!! & NEWS | BOLLYWOOD Bachchan shoots with Rani20th Mar 2006 19.20 IST By ApunKaChoice Bureau After having kept away from the shooting studios for months, superstar Amitabh Bachchan today stepped under the arc lamps once again. In his first shooting assignment after his recovery from intestinal operation, Amitabh shot for Karan Johar ’s movie Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna at Yash Raj Studio in suburban Mumbai on Monday. 
Also shooting along with Bachchan was Rani Mukherjee . Both Bachchan and Rani have been sweeping the boards at all the award functions this year for their respective performances in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s movie Black . On Tuesday, Bachchan will shoot for his make-up man Deepak Sawant’s Bhojpuri film ‘Ganga’. The film also has Hema Malini . After this, Bachchan will shoot for Ravi Chopra’s film Babul . The superstar has already been recording songs for the movie in the last few weeks. Just a few months ago, many in the industry had doubted whether Bachchan would be able to return to work and honor his commitments. Such doubts can now be laid to rest. Presently, the Big B has a good number of projects in his hands. These include films with Ram Gopal Varma and Gaurang Doshi . Bachchan will also act in a mature love story called Cheeni Kum with Tabu .
