And Deepika, daughter of former badminton champion Prakash Padukone is ready to take on Bollywood and if you check her Picture Gallery you will agree that she has the credentials as far as looks is concerned, to succeed. 
Choreographer turned director Farah Khan has offered Deepika to act in her 'Happy New Year' opposite none other than Shah Rukh Khan . Though Deepika feels happy to work in movies, she is averse to do sleazy roles or intimate scenes. The Bangalore-based model has done a music video for music director Himesh Reshammiya 's album 'Aap Ka Suroor'. Though initially reluctant, Deepika has taken Bollywood seriously as she has started taking lessons in acting from Anupam Kher and is considering a couple of scripts. Deepika will also be acting in Priyadarshan 's ‘Pirate’. The movie is mostly comedy but has a serious note in the end. The film is based on the subject music piracy. Here five young people form a music band and fight against music piracy. Deepika is an internationally known model, but her modeling may take a backseat after she switches to Bollywood.
