Sanjay Dutt will act in a movie based on a shootout incident in Mumbai.
The film is going to be yet another thriller by Sanjay Gupta’s production company White Feather Films. Its title is either going to be ‘Shootout’ or ‘Shootout at Lokhandwala’.
As the title suggests, the movie will be based on a real life shootout incident that happened in Mumbai’s posh Lokhandwala locality.
The film will be directed by Apoorva Lakhia , whose last movie ‘Ek Ajnabee’ was a flop at the marquee.
Apoorva says he and Sanjay Gupta think in similar ways about movies. True indeed, given the fact that Lakhia’s Ek Ajnabee and Gupta’s Zinda were blatant copies of Hollywood movie ‘Man on Fire’ and South Korean film ‘Old Boy’ respectively.
Hope this time we will get to see something original from the two.
‘Shootout’ will star Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal , Javed Jaffery and two more heroes. Lakhia and Gupta are said to have talked with Vivek Oberoi and Emraan Hashmi for the roles but nothing has been finalized as yet.
Shooting for ‘Shootout’ will most likely begin by August. The film will reportedly be shot in a single 40-day schedule.
