HOME | SCOOP!! & NEWS | BOLLYWOOD Amitabh Bachchan advised to go slow29th Mar 2006 16.44 IST By Agencies Doctors have advised 63-year-old mega superstar Amitabh Bachchan to take it slow after he started working on new movies after an almost four-month break due to health problems. Bachchan, who underwent surgery for an intestinal ailment in November, said that he was on set last week for ‘Ganga’ - a Bhojpuri movie - but that his doctor advised him to rest after three days of shooting. 
"I was just tired because I worked for three whole days. I did about 30 scenes, that too in the sun," he was quoted as saying. "I couldn't help it. I had to complete the work in this film, which was pending for months." Bachchan's doctor also advised him to cancel a planned trip from Mumbai to Kolkata. "I obeyed him and now it is work as usual," he said, dismissing speculation that he had not fully recovered from his illness. Bachchan said he started shooting this week for director Ravi Chopra 's movie Babul , in which he stars as the father of Salman Khan .
