Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan has been admitted to a hospital in Malaysia, reports say.
The 36-year-old actor has been in Kuala Lumpur to shoot for an advertisement that also stars his ladylove Rosa.
Media reports say that Saif was admitted to the Gleneagles Hospital in Kuala Lumpur after he complained of acute pain in the abdomen.
Doctors in the hospital are said to have diagnosed that he was suffering from appendicitis and he is expected to undergo a surgery.
One source is quoted as saying that the actor will indeed be operated upon for appendicitis.
Just a few days back, Saif had performed bhangra dance along with Rani Mukherjee at the closing ceremony of the recently concluded Commonwealth Games in Melbourne.
In Bollywood, the actor is presently committed to Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘Othello’ adaptation in which he plays a character on the lines of Iago. His forthcoming projects include ‘Qurbani’ remake and a thriller with Abbas Mastan. He will also act in Salaam Namaste director’s next movie.
