Rang De Basanti dislodges Kaho Na Pyar Hai

Last week we told you that the Aamir Khan starrer Rang De Basanti may find its way in the top three grossers of the current decade.

And now reports are that Rang De Basanti is on the way to be a 50 crore plus hit and while en route to the glorious landmark, it is toppling one record after another.

Rang De Basanti has a 47.5 crore total to boast after 8 weeks of running across the country and has one more clear week ahead without any major releases.

After marching past the total of No Entry (45 crores), the film has now dislodged Kaho Na Pyar Hai from the fourth position in the list of biggest grossers of the current decade. The adjusted total of KNPH was 46.25 crores.

Rang De Basanti is now on the way to be a 50 crore plus hit and while en route to the glorious landmark; it is toppling one record after another.

The movies that are ahead of Rang De Basanti are: Gadar - 91.5 crores, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham - 64 crores, and Koi Mil Gaya - 49.3 crores.
