Katrina walks the catwalk, Salman looks on

Bollywood actress and model Katrina Kaif walked the ramp for the Ritu Beri show that marked the grand finale of the Lakme Fashion Week.

On Saturday, curtains came down on what has been a week of fashion, glamour, gloss, glitz and a few wardrobe malfunctions.

Katrina is the official face of Lakme and has been walking the ramp for LFW for the past three years.

A resplendent looking Katrina, along with models Shivani Kapur and Indrani Dasgupta sashayed the catwalk on Saturday for Ritu Beri’s Happy Hour collection that included two kinds of outfits – for the daytime and night.

In the audience were Katrina’s beau Salman Khan and Bollywood actress Rani Mukherjee . Salman gave a strong nod of approval every time Katrina walked the ramp.

Coincidentally, Salman too had walked the ramp during the fashion week, but Katrina missed out on his catwalk.

“I am told he (Salman) looked quite stunning in a black coat, trousers and blood red shirt. I missed watching it though,” Katrina is quoted as saying.

The fashion week this year was in headlines because of two wardrobe malfunctions – involving models Carol Gracias and Gauhar Khan.

This is what Katrina has to say about such malfunctions: “It's an occupational hazard. There is barely a gap of 15 seconds in which one has to change and be back on the ramp. Sometimes, there is chaos, the fitting may not be proper or the model may not have carried it properly. One can't single out a designer or model for an incident like that. It's not fair,” Katrina is quoted.

In Bollywood, Katrina will soon be seen in Humko Deewana Kar Gaye .
