Shooting for filmmaker Dharmesh Darshan’s next film in England, actress Priyanka Chopra felt transported to Jane Austen territory.
It seems that Dharmesh Darshan has gotten tired of his clichéd melodramatic style of storytelling and is attempting something novel in his forthcoming movie Aap Ki Khatir .
For, not only has the filmmaker moved beyond his selective cast of actors that were repeated in his films, he is also said to have adapted to a new style of filmmaking as well.
Darshan has been shooting for his movie in a small town called Walcot in England. The location certainly seems to have left the movie’s cast mesmerized.
Priyanka is quoted as saying in an IANS report: "We shot in a place called Walcot, about 80 km away from London. And it felt like we have been transported to Jane Austen's territory... the quaint cottages, the green fields, the fresh air.”
“I was in this paradise on earth playing a Casanova who is romancing two pretty sisters, played by Priyanka and Amisha. What more can I hope for?” Dino is quoted by IANS.
Both Priyanka and Dino have not worked with Darshan in the past. ‘Aap Ki Khatir’ is also their first film together.
