Filmmaker Harry Baweja has been a much-worried man ever since Kareena Kapoor walked out unceremoniously from his movie.
Baweja’s plans to launch his son Harman Baweja in the big budgeted Love Story 2050 seemed to have gotten derailed when Kareena Kapoor left the project abruptly after shooting the film for a week.
With no leading lady for Harman, the movie was in limbo. Baweja approached Aishwarya Rai to fill the void left by Kareena, but the beauty queen could not commit to the project.
In this case, it is Priyanka Chopra who has agreed to do the film and bail Baweja’s out of the tight spot they are in. However, Priyanka doesn’t deem it as a favour. She is a friend of Harman.
Priyanka, who is presently shooting for Don in Malaysia, is quoted by IANS as saying: “They (Bawejas) were in a bit of a tight spot…And it was a friend's career at stake. So I made a bit of an adjustment to do 'Love Story 2050'. But it's not a favour to anyone except me...please! It's a fantastic role.”
Priyanka added that her role in the movie is something she would stretch herself to do. She said the project only has pluses on its side and there is no reason why she shouldn’t do it.
