HOME | SCOOP!! & NEWS | BOLLYWOOD Shah Rukh, Priyanka shooting in Malaysia11th Apr 2006 19.15 IST By ApunKaChoice Bureau Farhan Akhtar’s movie Don , starring Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra is currently being shot in Malaysia. The movie is Farhan Akhtar ’s own take on Amitabh Bachchan ’s movie Don (1978) . Although the basic plot of ‘Don’ is going to be the same as the original, the film will have a very urbane look. Also SRK plays a techno-savvy don in it. 
Certain portions of the film have already been shot in Mumbai chawls. And the shooting is presently underway in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The movie will be shot there at as many as 42 locations during the period of coming two months. The main shooting locations would be Penchala Link, Kampung Baru and the Petronas Twin Towers. The most exciting of these schedules will come in May when the song Khaike Paan Banaras Wala will be shot on SRK and Priyanka. The song will be choreographed by Saroj Khan. Songs and acting performance by Mr Bachchan were the two main strong points of the original ‘Don’. Farhan is making sure the music of his movie has the appeal to catch the listeners’ fancy. As for acting, Shah Rukh has already said that he would not be able to emulate Mr. Bachchan’s performance and would therefore play the leading character as he deems perfect. Can’t wait to see this one.
