But her inability to render her own dialogues in movies still remains a downer. It has been around three years since Katrina Kaif came to Bollywood with Boom and we still have to hear her deliver her own dialogues. It is understood that she grew up in an atmosphere in which English was spoken, but the lack of linguistic skills, particularly command over Hindi language, can become a weakness if Katrina has to carve her own niche in Bollywood. 
In her latest release Humko Deewana Kar Gaye , Katrina shows a noticeable improvement in acting. Shedding her wooden, bland expressions, Katrina is beginning to bring a range in her acting repertory. But unless this growth is matched by a simultaneous improvement in her dialogue delivery, Katrina's prospects of rise in Bollywood remain limited. In HDKG, once again, Katrina has not dubbed her dialogues. Dubbing artiste, Mona Ghosh, is her voice in the film. And so has been the case in every single movie Katrina has done so far. Her dialogues were dubbed in Maine Pyar Kyon Kiya and Sarkar too. In fact, if you watch Katrina's portions in 'HDKG' carefully, you will notice the oddity in her lip synchronization. Although not a major anomaly, it can stint her growth as an actress. Not that mouthing dialogues in Hindi is that difficult. Even Alice Patten managed to hurl a few desi expletives in Rang De Basanti . At the end of the day, it all boils down to will and determination to learn. Katrina's beauty is beyond doubt.
