Luscious the lips of newcomer Kangna Ranaut certainly are. They are also injury prone.
Kangna is making her Bollywood debut with Mahesh Bhatt’s presentation Gangster , directed by Anurag Basu and co-starring Emraan Hashmi and Shiney Ahuja .
While shooting for the movie, Kangna had two minor accidents that left her with bleeding lips.
No, it was not the doing of the “serial kisser” Emraan Hashmi, but it was Shiney Ahuja who accidentally hit her on two different occasions while the camera was rolling.
The first one happened in South Korea while shooting a scene in which Shiney slaps Kangna. She was supposed to move away before the slap landed on her face. However, the timing got a bit late because studio lights were glaring in her eyes. So the manly palm of Shiney eventually landed on Kangna’s face and left her with a bleeding lip.
On another occasion, this time filming in Mumbai, Kangna and Shiney were shooting for a scene in which she was standing right behind his back, facing him. Shiney turned around and his shoulder banged into her lip at the same spot where it was cut before. The bleeding this time was profuse and Kangna later had to get stitches on her lip from a doctor.
Quite ironically, no such incident happened when Kangna was shooting with Emraan.
