Saif Ali Khan says he is seriously thinking of marrying his Italian girlfriend Rosa.
Saif has been mulling the idea of tying the knot with Rosa for quite some time, and now even his mother Sharmila Tagore is learnt to have asked him to think about settling down.
Saif is quoted in an IANS interview: “I think we (he and Rosa) should get married. My mom thinks we should.”
Nowadays the actor is recuperating from a surgical operation of his appendix. He is on a tour in the US, performing at Bollywood concerts in LA, New Jersey and other cities.
Saif says he feels partly guilty that he is not able to give his best to these concerts because of his recent surgery. But the actor is still enthralled by the audience response in the US.
“When I see the audiences' response I am like... 'Wow!' They probably feel sympathetic towards me for limping to LA after surgery,” Saif is quoted as saying.
As for his marriage to Rosa, Saif has still not set a date. But he confirms that it will indeed happen. Saif had said in a pervious interview that Rosa has sacrificed too much for their relationship and he wants to honour her with a lifelong commitment.
In Bollywood, Saif is presently committed to Vishal Bhardwaj’s Hindi adaptation of Shakespeare’s ‘Othello’ in which he plays a rural guy who speaks with UP accent. His character is on the lines of Iago.
