It is like coming out from a self-created cocoon into the glaring lights of the showbiz. After having stayed off the limelight for four long years, Kajol , the articulate and stunning actress, is making an emphatic comeback.

She is all over the small screen, endorsing products, doing commercials, appearing on TV shows and even walking the ramp at fashion shows. And to top it all, her most awaited film Fanaa is just over a month away from hitting the theaters.

The writing is on the wall. Kajol is back, and back in a big way.

The actress went into a self-chosen hibernation after her marriage to Ajay Devgan . She has seen rough times in her personal life, but things changed drastically for good after the birth of her daughter Nysa.

It has not even been a year when Kajol started to return to showbiz, first with a few ads with hubby Devgan (for Whirlpool and Tata Indicom), then making solo appearances (like ad for Digestive Marie) and walking the catwalk to display a Manish Malhotra outfit at the Lakme Fashion Week this year.

And now, on Friday and Saturday, Kajol will be seen on TV in two different shows.

On Friday, she will appear on fashion designer and good friend Manish Malhotra ’s show ‘The Manish Malhotra Magic’. The programme will be shown at 9 p.m. on Zee Muzic.

And on Saturday, she will be the special judge at the grand finale of ‘Indian Idol 2’ show on Sony TV. During the show the two finalists, Sandeep Acharya and N.C. Karunya, will also sing the popular qawwali "Subhan Allah" from ‘Fanaa’.

While such appearances have and will bring Kajol more and more into the public eye, it is the release of ‘Fanaa’ on May 26 that will mark her return to the silver screen. The movie has already aroused much curiosity because Kajol plays a blind Kashmiri girl in it. It is also the first time Kajol is pairing with Aamir Khan .

In an interview a few days back, Aamir was asked who was his favorite female co-star till date, and Aamir did not think more than a second to say “Kajol”.

Ask Shah Rukh Khan and you will get the same answer.
