Aishwarya Rai says she is very much interested in doing a Hollywood movie with Will Smith. However, a Bollywood project she has already committed to is coming in the way.
Ash and Will met in February this year when the latter visited India. The two hit off immediately and Ash is said to have liked the story idea Will narrated to her for his proposed film with her.
Despite her keenness to do the film, Ash may still have to let go of the project because the dates Will wants from her are already given to filmmaker Ashutosh Gowarikar who wants to make the historical Jodha Akbar with Hrithik Roshan in the male lead opposite Ash.
An IANS report quotes Ash as saying: “I really do want to do the film with Will….Unfortunately, Will wants to make the film during the time when I'll be shooting for Ashutosh Gowarikar's 'Jodha-Akbar'. But I am keen to do Will's film.”
Ash hopes some adjustment can be made in either of the two projects so that she can work with Will Smith without affecting Gowarikar’s project.
Well, if there is Will, there is a way.
Meanwhile, Aishwarya’s movie Mistress Of Spices is ready to hit the theatres. The film is the directorial debut of Gurinder Chadha ’s husband, Paul Mayeda Berges. 44-year-old actor Dylan McDermott is Ash’s co-star in the film.
