The former Miss World plays Priya, a TV reporter in the film, who goes to a hill station for camping and trekking, where she meets Krrish – played by Hrithik Roshan . 
As expected, romance blooms between the two and despite their different backgrounds, Krrish and Priya fall in love with each other. But Krrish is left heart broken when Priya finally has to leave for Singapore. When Sonia, Krrish's grandmother ( Rekha ) sees how lonely he has become, she encourages him to go to Singapore and woo Priya back. Krrish has Priyanka playing a typical big city girl who encounters a young man – the like of whom she has never met before. Though Priya is 'using' Krrish for her own 'selfish needs', she still can't help herself but react to his innocence and honesty. Since Priya is inherently sweet, her portrayal is more of a confused girl rather than someone with true grey shades and finally it's her heart that finally shows her the right way.
